NEW POPPELMANN TEKU EP BEDDING PACKS; Optimised design offers greater efficiencies for growers

Dejex Supplies can now offer the new range of Poppelmann Teku EP bedding packs.  This new design from German manufacturers Poppelmann offers the possibility of greater efficiency for growers of bedding plants in a high quality bedding tray.  The EP series has taken the traditional bedding pack design and optimised it by minimising the walls between tray cells, this results in a more compact design retaining a similar cell volume to a traditional bedding pack.

As can be seen in the diagram below this allows 24 Teku EP Packs per shelf on a CC trolley opposed to 18 with a traditional pack design.  The Teku EP range currently includes a 6 pack (pictured) and 4 pack design, the EP1619/6 and EP1619/4 respectively.  Looking at the example below of the Teku EP1619/6 against a traditional 6 pack it can be seen that the grower can get an extra 33% plants per shelf of a CC trolley offering the potential for large transport savings.  The efficiency goes beyond just transport offering up to 202 plants per m² allowing the grower to maximise the use of their growing area.

As well as greater efficiencies the EP trays are also manufactured to Poppelmann’s usual high standards including features such as;

Multi Hole Star Drainage – to ensure rapid growth and healthy plants through good drainage.

High Covering Colours – to reduce light transmission through the tray avoiding root damage.

Evenly Formed Contours & Rims – to allow for more reliable stacking and de-nesting.

Evenly Punched Slits – to allow automated and improved assembly of labels and handles.
